One of the most durable stones available for exterior use, granite can be supplied with a high polish, honed or textured finish which is ideal as exterior cladding material and is relatively maintenance-free when compared to other softer stones.

Its general use can be seen on public buildings such as hotels, shop fronts, banks and restaurants. Also, particularly suited and becoming increasingly more popular for the domestic market, GMC regularly manufactures bespoke granite kitchen worktops for a number of exclusive kitchen manufacturers and independent clients.

Granite also lends itself as an excellent flooring material in its highly polished finish or as an anti-slip paving material when given one of the textured finishes. Using some of the UK's major distributors, GMC also sources it's granite from as far afield as The Middle East, India, Canada, Italy and Portugal.

Available in five finishes, polished, honed, flame textured or dolly pointed and comes in tile formats and slabs for domestic and cladding use. Sizes for floor tiles range from 300 mm x 300 mm x 10 mm thick and up to 600 mm x 600 mm x 20 mm thick. Slabs are available up to 500 mm thick.
